The geometry of this new project is still linked to the components of the master project. This assembly can be used to create new simulation projects that contain parts or the entire structure. The technology behind is a mechanism that is able to place all components on the schematic with all required information (3D geometry, port definitions, etc.) into one assembly. It may also be used as a project manager that maintains different variations of the same structure. You may use the framework as a 3D modeling tool, as a sequence controller to simulate coupled multiphysics problems or as a controller for hybrid simulations. The way how they are combined may vary in several ways.
